Regular price $179.95The OrthoRide™ Correction Saddle Pad is a 1-inch Western saddle pad designed to help address common saddle-fit gaps. It is especially suited to horses with high or narrow withers, sensitive backs, underdeveloped shoulder muscles, or changing toplines.
The pad combines Poron XRD® shock-absorbing inserts, gap-filling memory foam, orthopedic-grade felt, and extended wear leathers. Together, these materials help cushion saddle-bar contact, fill small spaces between the saddle and the horse’s back, and support more even pressure distribution.
Poron XRD® inserts are positioned beneath the saddle-bar contact area to absorb shock and impact. Memory foam helps fill small gaps where the saddle does not closely match the shape of the horse’s back. The orthopedic-grade felt bottom provides cushioning and helps manage sweat, while extended wear leathers protect areas exposed to regular friction.

Choose a size based on your saddle’s skirt dimensions, your horse’s back length, and the clearance needed around the pad.
A correction pad can help fill some saddle-fit gaps and redistribute pressure, but it cannot repair a damaged saddle or make every saddle-and-horse combination safe.
If your horse displays pain, persistent dry spots, white hairs near the withers, resistance while being saddled, or other signs of discomfort, have the saddle fit evaluated by a qualified saddle fitter or equine professional.
