Great Pad and Great Price Firstly, I could have not been more pleased with the customer service from these guys. They took care of me and helped out beyond what was required. This would be the second pad from Southwestern Equine. The other was an Ortho Ride. I received my Silverado pad and right away I was pleased with the quality of the pad out of the box. It will be a little stiff out of the box when you get it so be prepared for that. I put it under my saddle the first day and it fit my horse very well. I could feel the difference right away when I got into my saddle. I could feel the difference in cushioning with this pad. After the first ride, the pad had already loosened up a little and was beginning to form to my horse's exact contour. I am very happy with this saddle pad and even more happy that I was able to get such an awesome product for A GREAT PRICE!!!!! Thanks Southwestern Equine, you now have two loyal lifetime customers!!!

Not contoured enough for my TB. I was hoping this would be our perfect pad, but we know how elusive those can be. The pad is thick and seems to be a great quality built pad. However, it is very stiff right out of the package (after about 60 sweaty rides -its still stiff). My thoroughbred isnt a super high withered guy, but this isnt anywhere near contoured enough. Normally I would just pull the pad up into the gullet to pick it up off the withers, but because its so stiff I cant do it. Also, be aware of the bright green patch! I didnt pay much attention to it and its very distracting if you were to just use this pad as a ranch show pad. I have to use a cover.

Great pad! I can't speak for durability yet but I love it so far! It's a very nice pad and for the price I am very pleased. The cut outs and the leather are very nice and have held up great so far. It's already shaped to my girls back and I have ridden many miles in it and can't complain. The picture has my old pad of a different brand on the right and the new one on the left. The old one was stiff and hard when I got it brand new and when this pad arrived it was nice and flexible and felt great

Well made pad. Update after using Nicely made pad. Wish it had came in smaller size. Will use anyway. Update...after using a few times, have noticed pressure points (dry spots) on both sides. Not sure if has to do with pad or new saddle. Will be trying a different pad and see what happens. Still feel this is a well made pad. Pretty stiff though.

High quality pad I liked the first one I bought I got two more for my other two horses. Thus, I use on two Gypsy Vanners and one Morgan. They fit well, are very good quality and hold up to all kinds of riding (drill team, tough trails, etc).

QUALITY pad! I love this felt pad though it isn't quite as shaped to a horses back as I had hoped. My mare has no hot or cold spots with this pad. I love the cut outs over the withers and at the cinch points. The leather guards are high quality and placed perfectly. I have a small mare and it fits her fine and the saddle looks great on it. It is high quality and made in the USA! If I ever needed a second pad I would purchase another one, only in tan..just because. You want a great pad at a good price, this is it.
