Best bang for your buck!! This pad is literally the best bang for your buck if you are looking for a saddle pad for a high withered horse! I have owned a Classic Equine Biofit pad but that one quickly fell apart within a year. This pad on the other hand is built with high quality material, leather and fleece. I would absolutely buy this pad again, and it helps its affordable! 5 stars all the way!!

Good quality, gets the job done My horse is so happy with this pad! She has a minor sway back, so getting a saddle to fit her properly can be a challenge. In any saddle I’ve tried on her, we always had issues with saddle slip. This pad has totally corrected that, and my saddle is now staying exactly where it needs to be on her back. It’s very well made, and compared to similar pads this one is a fantastic value.

Nice Pad This product is as advertised, went out for a half day ride right after I got it and it worked great. Seemed to make my saddle fit better and made it more comfortable for my horse. Didn't see any high pressure spots when I took it off my horse. Great pad for the price, well made. I would buy another when this one wears out.

Horse had a saddle rub before. Bought this pad to help lift the front of the saddle. Normal pad we have used in the past left a rub spot on be of the horses this fixed the problem.

Finally! Finally got the pad she needed so she doesn't get sore! I think it was the third try of expensive, high quality pads. She's a foundation-bred, kinda smallish Quarter horse, who is rather out of shape even though naturally a very athletic horse. She is preforming MUCH better with it. Now if I can only keep her out of kick fights. . . .

Saddle Pad is all that is stated in the explanation. I just finished a riding lesson with this new pad and I must say it is the first time that my horse didn't refuse to move after only working for 15 minutes. Usually the saddle shifted and leaned forward pressing the pad into his withers, but with this pad everything stayed put and he was a much smoother ride. Product does what it says it will.

Heavy duty pad, our old lady, high withered horsey likes it. I'm quite enamored with this pad. So much, I'll be ordering another one for my MFT. We have a cheapo saddle and this pad leaves even sweat marks every time. Maybe my saddle isn't that bad, but the pad we got with it never really worked well, and neither did the fleece one (I'll never use another) we tried. The first one was old and used, so probably the problem. Second was cheap and flimsy. Spend the extra money on this one, unless your saddle is REALLY jacked up (like you shouldn't even be riding in it at all), I don't see why there would be any problems at all.

Fixed my saddle fitting problem This saddle pad helped fit my saddle fitting problem with my Arabian/QH. My saddle pinched on his shoulders and the gel is in the perfect place to fix the problem After using this pad my horse has beautiful, even sweat marks on his back.

Perfect for my 15 hh Arabian that is narrow framed ... Perfect for my 15 hh Arabian that is narrow framed compared to my quarter horse western saddle. I can't say high enough accolades for this pad. Buy with confidence, I was skeptical to buy online but since my sister had already bought for her horse, it gave me a chance to try it. Love the pad, saddle stays put with breast collar up and down severe angles and horse is uniform temperature across whole pad area.

Like it! Fits nice and does the trick. My horse is getting older and his back is getting a little low near the weathers. This helps the saddle stay in the correct position. I also noticed he didn't seem to get as sweaty under the saddle when I used this pad. I don't know if it was my imagination but he seemed happier too. This is the first time I've ever spent a lot of money on a saddle pad and I've had horses my whole life. I realized it was time to plunk down some money if I want to keep riding my older gelding. Glad I did, very happy with my purchase.

Great Pad I bought one of these pads for myself and liked it so much that I purchased another one for my grandson. We ride horses with narrow withers and this helps to keep the horses back from getting sore. And now I have ordered my third pad..and we all use them. Two of them are used under roping saddles and the other is used under a barrel racing saddle. I love think they are great.

I've waited a bit to review this saddle pad as ... I've waited a bit to review this saddle pad as I wanted to make sure that I gave it enough use to form an opinion- OMG my mare loves it! She has a downhill confirmation and my barrel saddle just a bit too wide for her. This pad works exactly as I had hoped- it lifts the saddle up off her scapula and makes it more level on her back. She now has even sweat marks after a long ride and the spine is completely dry.The first time I put it on her, she instantly began to lick and chew- success!! If you're on the fence about trying this pad, buy it. My only gripe is that it currently comes in one size only. The customer service person advised that they are working on coming out with more sizes and shapes in the future.

Five Stars nice pad, just what I'm needing for one of my horses

Great on our young Arabs Great on our young Arabs!My wife and I raise Arabs in Nevada. Many of our younger horses do not have fully developed wither muscles so it is important that we start them slowly and do not put too much pressure on their developing muscles and ligaments. We find the Orthoride is a perfect pad for these horses. The pad is light and flexes with the horses’ movement. We especially like the wither bump as it keeps the saddle balanced on the younger horses which is extremely important when starting a horse under saddle. This pad has become part of our riding/training program and we use it on most of our horses young and old to be honest.Worth noting, we also find these pads are great for endurance riding as they are light and again give extra cushion keeping the saddle from sliding forward when going down hills. We have several and find now faults. They are good looking, high quality & a very well made.

Provides excellent protection and looks great. I gifted this to my niece and she reports that it is an excellent grade pad. She used it the last few days and it seems to work well for her horse. The saddle fit well with the pad and I am sure the horse appreciates the comfort. The extra padding is spots seems to be positioned correct and provides extra protection in the areas where needed. The leather trim not only add the needed durability it also decks this pad out to look very sharp. Even the tag and logo embroidery is done with sharp looking craftsmanship - it really pops. I also love the wool I just ordered a second one! I tried it when I got the pad at a performance event a couple months back, and all I can say is WOW! I have tried numerous pads on my cow horse, and never have I had a pad that fits PERFECTLY! Sometimes with other pads my horse would twitch, NOT with this pad! We cruise down the trail, cut on cows, spin, lope and when I pull the pad, all sweat is even! I also love the wool, high quality! What an amazing saddle pad What a difference. I have tried about a dozen different saddle pads on one of my best horses. He has high withers and none of my 4 saddles fit him like they should. They are either tilting forward or dropping so low the gullet of the saddle hits his wither. I have resorted to thicker and thicker saddle pads that just push the entire saddle up and out of place. The result is the saddle is sliding around on his back, so I cinch down even more which he is starting to get sensitive to. If I don’t use thick saddle pads no matter how much I pull and tug the saddle pad at his wither, in about 5 minutes of riding, I find my saddle tilting forward riding on his wither.I knew right away when I saw the design of this saddle pad that it was probably going to work. It is so obvious simple, it puts extra padding right where the bars of the saddle rest, and nowhere else. So the pad isn’t thicker it just puts padding where it needs to be to make the saddle ride straight. My saddle sat lower than it does with the thick pads, The difference is that the bumps on the front of the pad hold the saddle up straight now. I didn’t need to cinch as tight and my horse seemed much more relaxed while riding, ears forward, moving his lips etc.. I have also used it on another horse and it seems to fit just fine also. I think that al lot of saddle don’t fit right on horses, but they fit the riders’ rears and that feels comfortable so they think it must be fitting the horse.Pros: Poron Shock absorption material at saddle bars, high quality finish, cinch cut under wear leather, full length wear leather, wither cut on top of saddle pad, orthopedic felt lining underside. (in my case an even sweat mark)Cons: may not work with properly fitting saddle, but I find it works well with my other horses.I simply don’t know why saddle pads are just starting to do this. I saw an offer to get one of these pads at a great discount and tried it. I was also asked to give a honest review. So here it is.
